Parentworkshop (00000002)Cross Roads Church Next Generation Pastor, Dan Britton, has invited me to speak to parents of teens at the South Placer Teen Center  about the challenge of parenting tech-savvy teens.

When: Wed. February, 3, 2016,  6:30pm to 8pm

Location: 3860 Oak St., Rocklin, CA South Placer Teen Center

What you will learn:

In the network, a lie can become an experience that murders the truth. That is why now more than ever, what you believe matters – especially for tweens and teens navigating the social network. At this training, you will learn:

  • the nature of the lies and untruth children experience via texting and social media
  • the three realms of security (physical, cyber and hearts and minds)
  • some of the basics for building a family culture to prepare the hearts and minds of youth at early ages to be self-governing and secure in the social network.

About:  We are a non-profit education center founded in Roseville, CA to strengthen the parent-child bond in a hyper-connected world. Our mission is to restore families with the mustard seed of faith that declares liberty already belongs to the soul because one God, the Creator of all humanity, grants every human being intelligence and free will to choose what to believe, and that is power that can never be taken, but is easily surrendered to the bully, the drug or the device. To that end, ten percent of all proceeds are donated to prison ministries. Your donations are greatly appreciated. (Donations are payable to Banana Moments Foundation).
